  25. Unless Mr. Gross is acting as some wealthy philanthropist, I believe that 
  26. those disks represent, to some degree, his livelihood.  Why in any of the 
  27. 9 planes of Hell would he ever consider uploading them for free?

  29. More importantly, are you THAT strapped for cash that the first thing 
  30. that comes to mind regarding those disks is a way to get them free?  How 
  31. about asking to pay a few bucks.  SOMEONE did the work in creating and 
  32. compiling macros and objects - they shouldn't be pressured to contribute 
  33. to the "greater good."

  47. Take a look around Amigaland.  While certainly the window of opportunity 
  48. of salvaging the Amiga platform has long closed, do you REALLY think we 
  49. should just "freebee" everything?  Are you old enough to remember the 
  50. WordPerfect Debacle?  While it will only prolong the enevitable,  it 
  51. might make more sense for you to *buy* magazines, software or chunks of 
  52. hardware to support those who are committed to the platform.
